We are always looking to expand on our existing partnerships and establish new collaborations that bring us closer to our goal of bringing inspirational dance performances and opportunities to new audiences, in new settings, and ensuring the North East becomes ‘the place’ for dance.
We have well established relationships with the region’s universities and further education colleges: Sunderland, Northumbria and Teesside University, and Newcastle and Sunderland College where we are proud to be their Associate Company performing in Arts Academy, Bede Campus every year.
The Bowes Museum: Designers and artists have a long tradition of working with dance. Artistic Director, Dora Frankel collaborates with The Bowes Museum to develop a new works inspired by the museum collections.
The Maltings Berwick-upon-Tweed: Moving Boundaries is a long-term project with The Maltings, involving dance workshops and performances. We are in residence for a week each year giving workshops and presenting our performance in the Henry Travers Studio. This year there is no performance but we will still be in residence on June 29th and 30th giving workshops to local schools!
We have a very special relationship with Northumbria Newcastle Business School and would like to thank them for their advice and support since 2016.
