Fertile Ground has an exceptional reputation regarding their participatory programmes; bringing high quality dance to children and young people, inspiring the next generation as future dancers and to further their ambitions.
The company has a long history of working with schools, colleges and community groups and have helped to support children and young people to aspire to be part of the Creative Industry and specifically the art of dance and see it as a viable career option. Our work supports curricula and extra curricula activities and we have a number of key partnerships including Sunderland College, Bowes Museum and Benfield School.
“The dancers from Fertile Ground are superb role models for our young people, our pupils gained invaluable experience and were motivated and inspired by your performers”. Carolyn Sayer, Progress Manager, Benfield School
